Thank you for coming into our school today and speaking to our Year 11’s. Your talk was incredibly powerful and deeply moving, and it is something that will stay with many of us for a long time.
Sharing such a personal experience, especially about your brother, could not have been easy. Your honesty and courage in opening up about your loss of your brother and your journey with mental health truly meant a lot. It helped us better understand the importance of looking after ourselves and each other.
Your message has made a real impact, a lot of the students have been walking around school all talking about it, it was incredible how engaged they all were even the more tricker students were fully engaged . You’ve encouraged them to speak up, to listen, and to take mental health seriously. That is something that goes far beyond the classroom and into our everyday lives.
Thank you again for trusting us with your story and for making such a meaningful difference.
